USS Midway
The USS Midway is located in downtown San Diego. It served as an aircraft carrier from 1945-1992. It served the entire Cold War period and then some. On June 7, 2004, it opened as a museum. It’s one of the most popular naval warship museums in the US. I like it more than the Intrepid in NYC.
