Subject B & Subject C – The Humans Have Been Broken
It has been 2 years since I published a piece. I took time off to dedicate myself to my experiment of withholding affection. My post from June 9, 2018 was the beginning.
Things have evolved quite a bit actually; maybe even backfired a little. Continue reading
Subject B, Subject C, and Jiminy – Withholding Affection Continue reading
It’s Jiminy’s first Christmas and my second with the humans. I’ve been working extensively with Jiminy on his issue Human Social Anxiety Disorder (HSAD). He’s gotten very comfortable in his new home. He really enjoys steak and chicken. We spend a lot of time by the windows, our favorite is the one in the bedroom, a lot of birds hang out on the fire escape. It can be a little exhausting because he needs constant attention. He always wants to sleep near me, rubs on my face and body. I let him know when I need my time. I’m a busy cat, right now I’m reading The Price of Inequality by Joseph Stiglitz, I saw it sitting in the shelf and was curious, he’s Subject B’s favorite economist. Then one day a yowling cage came home. At first I thought it was a dream. I sleep deeply, so deeply that when Subject B and C come home I yawn meow at them and my eyes stay squinty for 5 minutes. Quality Hugs – 1
Subject C, boy human says as he nuzzles my head and cheek hugging me to his chest, “Chewie, you give quality hugs. Mommy needs to learn this from you.” Continue reading
My name is Dr. Chewie Wells. I’m from Wards Island, NY, a small island in the East River connected to Randall’s Island where they have all the concerts. My island is home to Manhattan Psychiatric Center or as my human calls it, “the city nuthouse.” So it should come as no surprise that I have a PhD in psychology and specialize in “Human Behavior.”
One day over dinner with my colleagues which was provided by my human’s mother’s boss (referred to as Subject A from now on) who fed the feral cats; it hit me – what makes cat people tick? That’s when we, the cats, decided to conduct studies. Continue reading
The damn paparazzi are at it again. At least they kept their promise and haven’t dressed me up. But I fear January 5th is coming and I have a bunch of costumes waiting for me.
Inspired by Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus.
These people watch too much TV. Really, a B-movie reference?
