Quotes
It’s amazing what time can do to a person especially if they live under certain circumstances. As I hang out in my condos and do my “cat” routine, I’ve realized I have to write a post on exactly what the humans say. Continue reading

Coming in Second.
Jiminy is getting used to the humans but he’s still really needy for me. He always tried to cuddle and lick me. I hit him once in a awhile; I have a busy day of sleeping and studying. My hours for reading are limited since cats sleep a lot, we sleep 12-16 hours a day. Continue reading

Jiminy’s Progress
It’s Jiminy’s first Christmas and my second with the humans. I’ve been working extensively with Jiminy on his issue Human Social Anxiety Disorder (HSAD). He’s gotten very comfortable in his new home. He really enjoys steak and chicken. We spend a lot of time by the windows, our favorite is the one in the bedroom, a lot of birds hang out on the fire escape. It can be a little exhausting because he needs constant attention. He always wants to sleep near me, rubs on my face and body. I let him know when I need my time. I’m a busy cat, right now I’m reading The Price of Inequality by Joseph Stiglitz, I saw it sitting in the shelf and was curious, he’s Subject B’s favorite economist. While I thought I had my paws full with Jiminy, after reading, humans, you baffle me. Continue reading

Then one day a yowling cage came home. At first I thought it was a dream. I sleep deeply, so deeply that when Subject B and C come home I yawn meow at them and my eyes stay squinty for 5 minutes. Quality Hugs – 1

Jebus Mews: Introducing Dr. Chewie Wells
My name is Dr. Chewie Wells. I’m from Wards Island, NY, a small island in the East River connected to Randall’s Island where they have all the concerts. My island is home to Manhattan Psychiatric Center or as my human calls it, “the city nuthouse.” So it should come as no surprise that I have a PhD in psychology and specialize in “Human Behavior.”
One day over dinner with my colleagues which was provided by my human’s mother’s boss (referred to as Subject A from now on) who fed the feral cats; it hit me – what makes cat people tick? That’s when we, the cats, decided to conduct studies. Continue reading
